I think for me the most unforgettable experience this year was taking part in the London Marathon (Olympic year) - 3rd time lucky getting in to do it! Lucky me!

I want to take this opportunity to thank my friends and family for all their wonderful support during 2012. I hope that 2013 will be another prosperous running year for me. I am well on target to reach my goal of 40 before 40. I’m hoping that my new pair of trainers will see me through the rest of my runs and that they will take the strain of all the running I have planned for 2013. My other trainers are on their last leg and will be put to rest shortly. It’s been mentally and physically challenging for me this year , I will not lie, there were times I thought what have I got myself into. But i can happily say i’m still alive and kicking, toe nails have grown back and bruising has gone and i’m healthier than I've ever been so I’m raring to go, bring on the New Year and bring on 40!! I'll need these marathons after all the eating and drinking I've been doing over Christmas and new year.

New Year's Eve runners drinks menu!

Lets start the race with a bang, pop the cork on expensive bottle Of bubbly "pink"
