Marathon No.16 ~ Milton Keynes Marathon

I have very bad memories of RUNNING in Milton Keynes. The Half Marathon which took place on 4th March 2012 started off with RAIN, HAIL and finally ended in falling SNOW. The FULL Marathon was too BAD to talk about........ (The very same day the SHAKESPEAR FULL Marathon got Cancelled) - I said 'Never again', but still going back for more ~ LoL!

Marathon No.15 ~ Virgin London Marathon

3rd Major - Managed to get in to London 2012 through Ballot (4th time lucky) and through Charity place.... 'Children with Cancer UK'. Was awesome, the runners, the atmosphere. I kept pushing myself from start to finish. Very pleased with my time of 05:05:52!

Marathon No.14 ~ Paris Marathon

First of 3 Marathons in 3 Weeks. Completed Paris Marathon in 05:27:55. Was in so much pain that I struggled at the last 3 miles. Ended up holding hands with a French bloke at Finish line. There was wine en route which I missed. Fantastic views seeing the Eiffel Tower and passing through Princess Di Tunnel!

Marathon No.13 ~ London ULTRA 50K

2nd attempt doing London Ultra 50K. Came in 2nd last as lost big time. Part of the course was closed off but it was the only route we could use! Big FAT Mug was awaiting at Finish Line and Jacky was there waiting for me!
